On this page you will find information about the exam periods of the current academic year, how to register and deregister for the exams as well as exam dates.
For information regarding examination deadlines, admission
requirements and admission procedures, please use the examination regulations for your degree program.


Exam periods in the academic year 2019/20
Winter Semester

10.02. - 28.02.2020 | 16.03. - 27.03.2020
Summer Sem.20.07. - 07.08.2020 | 14.09. - 25.09.2020

Registration for exams



for Bachelor or Master courses

The registration for the module is also the registration for the exam.

Registration period: until 20.10.19, 11 pm (WS) | until 15.04.20, 11 pm (SS)

Deregistration: until 13.01.20, 12 pm (WS) | until 20.06.20, 12 pm Uhr (SS)

for Diploma courses

 

Diploma examinations:


Preliminary diploma examinations:

  • Registration for all oral Preliminary diploma examinations in Mathematics via AlmaWeb; Desired examiner and desired examination date by E-Mail 
  • Registration period in the winter semester from 02.12.2019 - 09.01.2020
  • Registration period in the summer semerster from 18.05.2020 - 18.06.2020


The following applies to the registration for the examination for diploma courses:

  • The proof of achievment assigned to the respective examination must be available. Certificates from the current semester can be submitted later.
  • If there are reasons that do not permit admission to an exam, the candidate must nevertheless deregister from a registered exam.
  • An application for admission to the last examination for the preliminary diploma in Mathematics and Business Mathematics can only be submitted if the general admission requirements and all technical admission requirements are met. Exceptions require a separate approval. Certificates of the current semester can be submitted later.

Deregistration from exams
is possible within the registration period without giving any reasons. After this period has elapsed, the cancellation of a registered exam can only be made in writing directly to the study office, of there are important reasons. The reason given for the withdrawal must be reported immediately and made credible (see § 5, § 13 PO). 

If an examination has not been registered or if the examination is canceled after registration, participation in the examination at the repetition date is also denied. For bachelor and master students, even partial achievements for the module to be examined expire (§ 5 General Admission Requirements).
